Larry, a native Texan, began learning about business from his parents at a very young age. After college, he joined his family’s business and managed his own retail store in Albuquerque, New Mexico for 10 years. Moving on, he worked for Color Tile as an Administrative Trainer, training store managers for over 300 stores in the Western Division and eventually, opened 4 Color Tile franchise stores.  With the corporate failure of Color Tile, he persevered with his entrepreneurial spirit and in 2001 started a Home Remodeling business with a partner. It’s still a thriving business today where he still works part time as a consultant .

Through the years, he has served and held Board positions as the President of the Montgomery Mall Merchants Association, President of the Color Tile Franchisee’s Association, Secretary of the Pauma Valley Roadway Association, and on the Pauma Pala County Advisor Board.

Larry is a California Licensed Real Estate Broker and General Contractor. Before the internet, he was a self-taught computer geek and has built computer networks for numerous businesses.

After being widowed in 2009, Larry met Rhonda and they began a new life together building a new business––remodeling and selling homes. In 2014, when they purchased a house in Pauma Valley Country Club to remodel, they soon realized that Pauma Valley was exactly where they belonged. Together they have built a strong sense of community, have made lifelong friendships and feel blessed to call this beautiful valley home. It is an honor for him to serve on the Board of Pauma Valley CSD.
