Mr. Fred Nelson is a seasoned executive, U.S. Army veteran, and dedicated community leader. He served three years in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam era specializing as a Forward Air Controller and was honorably discharged as a Non-Commissioned Officer. He studied Business Administration and Economics at the University of Minnesota and has completed the Executive Development Program at the University of Southern California’s School of Business Administration.

Over the course of his career, Fred held senior management roles at distinguished financial institutions including Midwest Federal, Fannie Mae, and Washington Mutual. In these positions, he focused on substantial multifamily lending in addition to managing litigious and distressed assets. Since 2007, he has been an active Pauma Valley resident, chairing the Coyote golfing group and the Silver Seniors, while also serving as President of both the Terraces HOA and the Pauma Valley Roadway Association.
